Do you enjoy being a part of successful team?Do you like working in collaborative teams and solving technical problems?Be part of a successful teamTo drive SharePoint system enhancements to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination.

Requires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologiesPartner with the bestThe role operates in a small team and is responsible for the development, promotion and maintenance of the Knowledge Management (KM) systems in SharePoint, and curation of the document and data content, used by the Flexible Pipe Systems product line within Baker Hughes' Offshore Systems and Equipment business.

The system used is a Microsoft SharePoint Online instance, which acts as the main Knowledge Management and collaboration platform for the product company, incorporating Office 365 functionality with specific Power Apps implementations.

As a Knowledge Management Engineer, you will be responsible for:Provisioning of Power Apps solutions to meet business Knowledge Management and sharing requirements, within a secure SharePoint Online environmentProvisioning of SharePoint site pages, lists, Work Areas, Communities, and libraries featuring Power Automate Flows, custom views, reports apps and custom web parts as necessaryWorking with subject matter experts to ensure site pages and documents in the Technical Library are kept up-to-date with accurate and curated information, tagged with appropriate metadata, including publication of documentsAssisting in the promotion of knowledge capture and sharing within the Engineering function, and to the wider businessMaintaining and enhancing the functionality and structure of the main knowledge repository - the Technical Library;
migrating documents from other repositories into the one master libraryCurating, developing and promoting the use of the business taxonomy in SharePoint;
driving employee engagement and usage across locations and geographies through education and training sessionsCommunicating and engaging with employees and teams in order to scope, design and deliver team sites which meet the business needsPresenting and promoting SharePoint functionality opportunities to interested parties and engaged usersIdentify and communicate best practice to employees, highlighting where SharePoint is most suitable as a platform and, alternatively, where other corporate systems are more appropriate (MS Teams, OneDrive, TeamCenter, etc.

)Working closely with internal and / or external development assistance teams to ensure the most efficient development of the functionality of SharePointDeveloping a routine of generating and delivering system performance and usage metrics to present to managementApplying the Baker Hughes legal imperatives with respect to intellectual property (IP), export control, and document confidentiality classifications;
driving clear, accurate and consistent use across the platformWorking with Product Management, IP, and Communications teams on the technical publications process, for development, approval and submission of technical papers and presentations to conferences.

Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a Batchelors degree in a relevant field (preferably in Engineering or computer science) or a minimum five years of experience in a relevant similar positionBe able to develop solutions using MS Power Automate, Power BI and other Power AppsPresent excellent working knowledge of MS SharePoint OnlineDemonstrate proficiency with MS Office 365Have strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsBe able to define database system criteria;
a capability for database construction and maintenance would be desirableShow an attitude of delivering for customersExemplify eagerness for development and learning, to explore and promote opportunities for Knowledge Management across Baker HughesBe fluent in English and an aptitude or ability in Portuguese (for liaising with colleagues in Brazil) would be advantageous.
