Within Controlling &Product Finance you belong to Business Control team, reporting to Curitiba Site Manager and strong connection with functional Business Control VP in Europe.
GTT Business Control is responsible for consolidating and follow up on the GTT financial performance, do the financial planning and forecasting including developing the related process, tools and principles.
The business control team works closely with the executive management and the different business functions, which puts strong demands on order and clarity as well as on business focus in a dynamic environment.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesWork closely with functional leaders / site management to develop financial forecasts and operational goals by applying business judgment and providing financial insights to assist with decision-makingConsistently striving to maximize the added value in order to improve the business performance of the business function / regionCoordinate the budget, forecast and actual cost periodically including preparation of management reporting.
Performing variance analysis, reviewing and challenging reported actuals and forecasts and provide first level of informationInvestigate trends / gaps / opportunities, thereby implementing best practices and continuous improvements to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in controllingPerform proactive controlling and champion a culture of cost awareness in the organizationActively contribute in developing routines, processes and ways of working on global and regional levels by sharing input and suggestions based on knowledge and experience.
Deliver your role in a highly collaborative manner that generates buy-in and enthusiasm from your peers, your business counterparts and stakeholders at the site.
Active management team participation, drive team understanding of financial impact from decisions and direction taken.
Project Portfolio financial management.
