Are you passionate about driving international trade and eager to contribute to the economic growth of one of the most innovative regions of Europe? A governmental agency of the Region of Flanders, is seeking three enthusiastic Commercial Assistants to join our dynamic team.

About Us: The Agency facilitates the expansion of Belgian companies abroad and assists foreign companies in connecting with quality suppliers in Flanders.

Additionally, we support investment projects in the Flanders region.

Job Description: As a Commercial Assistant, you will play a key role in preparing for a Belgian Economic Mission to Brazil, led by H.

R.

H Princess Astrid of Belgium .

The Mission is scheduled from 23rd to 30th November 2024 in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

The preparation process begins five months prior to the mission.

Main Responsibilities: ? Manage general administration tasks, including handling mail, documents, and communication with Belgian and Brazilian companies via phone and virtual meetings.

? Coordinate individual and general Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings for Belgian companies during the mission.

? Assist in organizing seminars, an official reception and network events for the Belgian delegation during the mission.

? Conduct research and provide assistance in addressing queries for Belgian companies.

? Contribute innovative ideas and identify opportunities to ensure the successful execution of the commercial mission.

? Provide comprehensive follow-up, both written and oral, and manage existing networks and databases.

? Offer support with translation and reception work as required.

Competences: ? Be proactive and self-motivated.

? Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a small team environment.

? Possess strong social and communicative skills.

? Experience with CRM systems is highly valued.

? Affinity with Belgium and the Flanders region is highly appreciated.

? Display flexibility, customer orientation, responsibility, and organizational skills.

? Hold a university degree, preferably in economics, foreign trade, or international relations.

? Work under pressure to accomplish tasks involving various parallel events ? Experience in a commercial and international environment.

? Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

? Fluency in English and Portuguese is mandatory.
