Role: Network Security Engineer Location: São José dos Campos - SP, 12240-420, Brazil Contract: starts with 6 months with possible extension Work Mode: Hybrid: 2 days onsite must Must-Have Qualifications: 3-5+ years in a large enterprise network support role with a strong understanding of network infrastructure.
3-5+ years of success in designing, deploying, and managing Network Security Solutions (Firewall/IPS, SASE/SSE).
3+ years in designing network segmentation and firewall rules for enterprise and manufacturing clients.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail and a customer service orientation.
Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications: BA/BS degree in STEM field is required, with a preference for advanced certifications.
CCIE, AWS Advanced Networking, AWS Solution Architect Certified Professional, Azure Associate/Professional certifications are highly desirable.
Cisco Certified DevNet Associate or equivalent experience.
Experience with F5 load balancers, network protocols (OMP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and spanning-tree.
Familiarity with a variety of network hardware and software manufacturers (Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet, Zscaler, F5).
1-2+ years in network security automation with experience in Python, Terraform, Ansible, and Restful API.
