We are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer with a background in developing low power IoT devices for a variety of applications.
The ideal candidate will have design experience of analog and digital circuits, wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular), power supplies, and general embedded hardware.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of low voltage/low power design practices, PCB layout practices, and design for reliability.
Department Engineering Employment Type Full Time Location Brazil - Joinville Workplace type Onsite Key Responsibilities Design analog and digital circuits for low voltage (<60Vdc) IoT sensing and communication devices Identify and evaluate electronic components for new designs.
Perform computer-based component, circuit, and system simulation to prove out design performance and compliance with product specifications Create schematics and PCB layouts.
Prototype electronic circuits and document results.
Interface with Software, Mechanical, and other Electronic Engineers to achieve high quality designs.
Create and Maintain product documentation, including specifications, validation plans, and test results.
Review and approve electrical documentation (schematics, assembly drawings, BOM, PCB layouts, etc.
) Support transitioning newly developed products from development to production Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Proficient in designing linear and switching power supplies.
Proficient at designing mixed analog and digital circuits for a variety of sensing applications Experience designing various communication protocols (I2C, RS, CAN, UART, SPI) Ability to design for low power applications, minimizing current consumption to meet product requirements Experience designing hardware for multiple RF protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular) Experience with circuit schematic capture and layout (Altium preferred) Experience with circuit simulation software (Spice, MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS) Understanding of design for reliability in various environmental conditions Able to understand and design for multiple certification requirements (FCC, UL, CE) Proficiency in English communication (reading, writing, and speaking) is a prerequisite for this position.
The candidate must be willing to travel for extended periods as required.
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, engineering technology, or a related field (required).
