KEY RESPONSABILITIES Take a leading role as Cybersecurity Specialist at Averis Americas, encompassing both administrative and technical pillars, actively engaging and enhancing the team to ensure effective performance in safeguarding the client company's information.

Hands-on and technical activities focused on cybersecurity in its broader aspects.

Act as a multiplier agent for the security culture, directly contributing to the continuous evolution of maturity levels.

Monitor IT operations and work towards mitigating identified risks.

Technically coordinate Cybersecurity Crisis situations to contain and control incidents.

Coordinate/Implement information security projects, whether originating from the RGE headquarters or locally, ensuring delivery within the expected scope, timeframe, and quality.

Monitor and review security items through implemented policies.

Develop and implement Information Security controls and processes, aiming for continuous improvement in security services.

Seek opportunities for process and governance security control enhancements.

Support IT and business areas in the implementation and management of security controls.

Work with broader Cybersecurity team to review and propose improvements to policies and procedures related to information security.

Identify and assess security risks, ensuring visibility into security risks and progress in remediation.

Support Internal and External Audit activities with IT areas, serving as the focal point for information requests and organizing/following up on the definition and execution of action plans.

Report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to the Information Security area to the Manager, providing visibility into metrics for detecting deviations, making necessary corrections, and providing input for planning new actions and area needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Networking, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

One or more security certifications (example: ISO/IEC 27001, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, Checkpoint, Fortinet).

At least 7 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Proficiency/understanding with Cybersecurity services and tools (e.

g Firewall, VPN, WAF, Proxy, AV, SIEM, IDS, IPS, DLP, cryptographers, vulnerability scanners).

Solid understanding of communication, authentication and authorization protocols (SSL/TLS, SFTP, VPN, 8021X, SAML, RADIUS, LDAP, OAuth, Multifactor).

Develop, enhance, rollout and enforce the compliance and network security standards and procedures.

Understanding in identity management, access control and Single Sign-On (SSO).

Intermediate knowledge in servers hardening.

Familiarity with operational systems (Windows, Linux).

Experience with traffic analysis and network monitoring.

Advanced knowledge about protocols and network layers (Advanced TCP/IP).

Deep knowledge related to physical and logical Datacenter security.

Must have experience in managing L3/L4 issues.

English - Advanced level in written and oral communication;
Native Portuguese Brazilian Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, Global Team in Asia and team members effectively.

Availability to stand-by on demand and to attend meetings at crisis moment.

Must be willing to work ON-SITE in our Campinas office on daily basis.

Availability to travel.
