Join our winning team as a Logistics Specialistin our Supply Chain Department at our São Paulo office, Brazil site.
In this role, you will be responsible for:●Scheduling and managing customer shipments and deliveries throughout Brazil.
●Monitoring route management and analyzing keyindicators.
●Cargo loading follow-ups.
●Ensuring delivery schedules are met.
●Changes in volumes/vehicles/routes.
●Evaluating carrier demand and performance.
●Logistics planning and execution.
Specialist Essential Functions●Analyse Logistics Extra Costs (including demurrage and detention).
●Prepare purchase orders for payment of logistics invoices.
●Send invoices to Accounts Payable and support Apay process.
●Analyse On Time Delivery data of all Cost, Insurance & Freight (CIF) carriers, as well as daily logistics issues.
●Prepare S&OP presentations and 3PL quarterly performance reviews.
●Coordinate the “Vale Pedágio” (Toll Fees – local regulatory).
●Provide support for improvement / cost avoidance initiatives.
●Provide as necessary logistics audit reports.
●Provide scheduling support to carriers both CIF and FOB.
●Coordinate Truck Logistics Operations (Knowledge of marine and/or rail Logistics Operations would be a plus).
●Support to Transportation Management process (TM).
●Support to the global teams (BPI – Business `Process Improvement).
EH&S Manager Position Requirements●Bachelor degree (BSc) in Logistics and/or Business Administration or related areas - required ●Logistics experience.
●Languages:oAdvanced English.
oSpanish– desirable.
●Strong customer service mind set.
●Familiar with Logistics Management Systems, Logistics Quality Tools, Logistics Data Analytics, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), etc.
●Interpersonal relationships, teamwork, problem solving, team facilitation, initiative, and leadership skills.
●Excellent computer skills (spreadsheets, databases, etc.
).
●Knowledge of Work Process and related Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Systems Applications and Products (SAP) tools.
●Working Knowledge of Power BI – desirable.
●Working Knowledge of the "Transportation Management" – desirable.
