The person in this role will work cross-functionally and globally collaborating with GM South America Business.

Our primary objective is to have these products available, accessible, and accurate time, improving quality, and helping to create the best vehicles and customer experience in the industry.

We achieve this goal by considering the customer’s needs in everything we do.

Primary Responsibilities: - Identify and develop new reman business projects to support CCA customer retention and profit goals - Develop the business case process for reman products - Determine the optimum strategy for the production location of reman products - Lead the Cross-functional team meetings with regional teams and South America teams - Identify and drive reman opportunities in collaboration with regional operations (GMSA Portion) - Strategically lead the development, deployment and improvement of processes to improve business capabilities - Seek for opportunities, promote technical and commercial studies for cost reduction - Prepare and present project plans and status reports to leadership.

- Define and report business KPI’s / Analytics - Evaluate and improve the current operations efficiency and support the current reman operations - Implements engineering changes at repair sites and solves quality related repair problems - Maintain and control the assemblies usages and service strategy (replace / repair) - Act on logistics, taxes, billing and other support areas Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively.

The employee’s role enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as needed or desired.

This position requires an employee to be onsite to attend business needs only.

#LI-DD1 Additional Job Description Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering - Activated CREA - Project Management skills (Planning, teamwork, organizational, priority setting, problem solving, negotiating, innovation & cost mgmt.

) - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, effective project planning in terms of resources, strategies, cost, and time with ability to meet project timelines - Demonstrated analytical ability to investigate and to apply technical judgement and resolve problems - Demonstrated initiative and interpersonal skills to work effectively with other departments, staffs and suppliers - General understanding of engineering theory, principles, automotive production process, and service strategy development - Understand Math/Drawings/Specifications - Strong to attention to details and organization skills - Ability to work with different organizations / people to meet job requirements - Comfortable with working on complex projects - High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult (Innovative mindset) - Strong written and oral communication - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products - Advanced English skills (writing, reading and speaking) - Drive daily basis activities/results with customer focus in mind Preferred Qualifications: - Cursing Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration and Project Management - Automotive service experience at the wholesale or retail level - Automotive Systems Knowledge & Manufacturing Knowledge - Spanish (Intermediate skills) - Knowledge of CCA processes and systems - Experience with remanufacturing products and process - Aftersales business line experience - Availability to travel #LI-DD1 About GM Our vision is a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion and we embrace the responsibility to lead the change that will make our world better, safer and more equitable for all.
