Job Summary The future company formed by all these industrial sites, kaolin mine, port and logistic hubs is foreseen to start its operation under a new brand in the course of 2024. It will offer mineral solutions for industries worldwide.
Currently serving mostly the paper and board markets , the new company will use its global footprint, unique assets and longstanding know-how to develop new business opportunities and foster innovation.

With an annual revenue of around 350 million euros in 2023, this activity will employ about 1000 employees.
The Company needs to reinforce the existing teams to operate as a standalone organization but also to meet its ambitious development plans.
Role overview: Ensure fiscal and accounting integrity and documentation based on local GAAP and IFRSSupervise month-end close and manage interactions with BA Controlling and SSC when applicableEnsure all financial reporting for his/her perimeter / organizationEnsure quality of Internal Control of financial processeResponsibilities and Duties:Supervise month-end closing activitiesCheck accuracy of deliverables within his/her scope within allocated timeValidate provisions and accrualsResponsible for statutory filingsReconcile statutory and management booksSupervise tax filing and tax returnsMonitor Regulatory changes of accounting and taxesResponsible for local annual auditSolve internal audit points related to financeEnsure management procedures are put into practiceIdentify problem areas in the processes and work with team to generate solutionsDrive and supervise the implementation of new solutionsSet priorities, alert management of any identified riskQualifications & Experience 10 years experience in a leading finance position as a Senior Accountant with an experience in managing and developing a Finance / accountant teamA bachelor’s degree in accounting is the minimum requested but profile who also has earned a master’s degree in accounting / finance or certification such as certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA) are preferred and further finance qualifications such as ACA, ACCA/FCCA.
Skills & Person Specification Deep knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), practices, standards, laws and regulations, tax computationsDesign and implementation of process improvements and controls.
