Credit Controller Job role: Credit Controller Reporting to: Team Manager, Credit Control About the roleIWG currently has openings for Credit Controllers who are looking for a home-based role.
As Credit Controller you will take responsibility for collecting overdue payments and driving customers to sign up for automatic forms of payment.

Language requirements EnglishPortuguese Key responsibilities Actively collect payments from customers with overdue invoices via phoneAnswer account queries and take responsibility for resolving disputes by engaging front and back-office teams to ensure that concerns are actioned correctlyExplain due dates, late payment policies and service agreement terms as appropriateDrive customers to sign up for automatic forms of payment (e.
g.
direct debit, credit card)Manage a portfolio of customers with overdue invoicesFlag accounts that require follow up by the legal collection team as neededKeep track of progress in the designated collection systemWork with regional/local management and use knowledge of established corporate operating procedures to make sound business decisions regarding issue resolution.
Deliver against a set of agreed performance targetsManage customers who are resistant by remaining polite, tactful, honest but firmPerform other duties and projects as assigned Qualities Strong debt collection or sales skills, including clear communication, firmness and persuasiveness in negotiation, fast responses, quick thinking, objection handling and the ability to remain flexible and calm under high pressure.
A high level of written and oral competency in the designated languages with the ability to conduct business conversations and correspondence.
Ability to conduct business conversations and correspondence in English.
Basic knowledge of light accounting tasks (performing statement of accounts reviews, etc.
)Solid organisational skills, including the ability to manage complex caseloads through to completion and prioritise and multitask in a demanding environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
Self-starter who can work with direction but little supervision.
Team builder and recognises the importance of the team.
Willingness to go beyond the job description to meet business goals.
