Randstad Technologies Birmingham, AL seeking Technology Support Analyst

Randstad Technologies is searching for a Technology Support Analyst to fill a permanent position with a Vestavia Hills based financial services client. The qualified candidate must have 1 to 4 years of technical experience (Linux Servers, Windows Servers, Microsoft Office suite) accompanied with a customer service oriented attitude, keen problem solving skills and strong interpersonal communication abilities. The Technical Support Analyst will serve in a technical role helping end users troubleshoot desktop issues, manage device setup and utilize software effectively. This individual will schedule and lead training in both group and individual sessions for end users of a financial industry software. The Technology Support Analyst maintains both cloud and non-cloud based Linux servers, as well as, Windows servers, operating systems and applications. They also serve as the IT team's liaison between internal customers, external vendors and corporate. Financial industry experience is a plus, but not required.

Manage end user relationship, training and troubleshooting

  • Provide guidance and support on all IT related matters for users
  • Educate users how to troubleshoot, resolve and engage
  • Technical SME for end users of financial industry software
  • New user on-boarding, systems set up and software training
  • Provide on-going training to bolster user knowledge, share updates Serve as the technical liaison between users, vendors, and corporate

    • Provide Tier 1 support to end users
    • Analyze and document issues
    • Recommend solutions, initiate corrective actions
    • Prioritize escalation, engagement of outside vendors and technical resources
    • Follow up for timely problem resolution
    • Communicate in a professional, cooperative manner with all levels of key stake holders internally and externally Maintain both cloud and non-cloud-based Linux servers and Windows servers, systems, and applications

      Remain knowledgeable of technology updates, changes, releases to provide comprehensive, current support

      • Computer Sciences or applicable discipline, 2 or 4 year degree
      • Advanced Windows systems knowledge: servers, operating systems and applications
      • Cloud and non-cloud based Linux servers knowledge
      • Relationship Management: 1-2 years
      • Software Administration: 1-2 years
      • Financial industry experience is a plus, not required
      • Salesforce training or experience is a plus, not required
      • Knowledge of ORION, MoneyGuidePro, HiddenLevers, Salesforce, Envestnet and other industry FinTech
      • Demonstrated ability to learn new software systems and communicate guidance effectively
      • Willingness to learn new technologies and bring new ideas to the team
      • Team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to collaborate
