Job Summary:

The Executive Recruitment Team in the Office of Human Resource Management is responsible for the sourcing, recruiting, and conducting high level faculty and leadership positions for Louisiana State University. The Executive Recruiting Partner will work as a project manager to strategically source/identify potential candidates for vacant or newly established executive positions. Will work as a liaison between the Executive Recruitment Team and the search committee in coordinating meetings and interviews as well as preparing search materials and reports. Partner advises a designated department on hiring and managing job requisitions.

Job Responsibilities:

30%- Strategic Sourcing: Conduct research on potential candidates to identify and source talent. Recruiting competitive and diverse candidate pools. Perform scheduled and strategic outreach to and correspond promptly with candidates and constituents.

25%- Staffing: Monitor and review recruiting efforts, requisitions, and the hiring of faculty and staff. Ensure transactions are processed timely and accurately for assigned area. Responsible for facilitating or overseeing proper pre-screening. Advise colleges and departments on best hiring practices and propose solutions to recruiting difficulties.

15%- Search Logistics: Responsible for the coordination of logistics for Executive Search candidates, hiring managers, and campus partners. Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers, search chairs, and committee members to provide timely search logistics and information throughout the search process. Liaise between interview groups, campus partners, and external constituents. Escort candidates on campus and provide day of support during and prior to campus visits.

10%- Consulting and Compliance: Ensure both confidentiality and transparency during search processes and ensure that proper procedures are met. Provide direction to departments in effort to maintain compliance with applicable laws, university policy, and procedures. Interpret and apply HRM policies and procedures.Responsible for data quality and integrity. Responsible for maintaining and ensuring effective business procedures within the HCM (Workday).

10%- Prepare Data and Materials: Ensure all search materials are properly dispersed among all necessary parties. Manage reports and analytical data regarding all facets of the executive level hiring process. Maintain records of expenses for recent, past, and ongoing executive searches. Create and update Qualtrics Surveys for recruiting efforts.

10%- Other projects and duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related Talent Acquisition or Human Resources experience with Customer-service focused; General, talent, or staffing- Human Resource experience; Timely and efficient with project management; Strong attention to detail; Demonstrated proficient communication skills at all levels of a university setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree with specific degree related to Human Resource Management with specific experience in Higher education; Workday; LSU Policies and Procedures knowledge; familiarity with LSU structure; understanding of the different employee types at LSU and the governing rules for each.
