Our client is a leader in a specific market of Tourism sector. They are looking for someone to manage their fleet and logistics around Europe (based in Lisbon).
-Plan and manage all the Assets and logistics: fleet, warehouses, supplies and materials, among many others;
-Lead, coach and manage the Fleet and Logistics team;
-Improve and implement policies and procedures that will optimize the fleet condition and availability;
-Define and implement the Fleet and logistics management strategy;
- Manage all fleet maintenance and repairs in what regards to scheduled maintenances, collision, accidents, renovations among others;
-Coordinate with local teams to make sure vehicles are delivered on time and in the best condition;
-Research for new Europe-wide suppliers and partnerships in vehicle handling
-Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers and retailers;
-Keep a close control on the insurance policies of all vehicles, and manage the key communications with insurance companies;
-Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, transport costs and efficiency;
-Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
-Fluent in English (mandatory);
-Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business or similar;
-Fleet management position at a Rent-a-car or Leasing company;
-Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff;
-Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects;
-International experience will be a plus;
-Knowledge of a third language will be a plus.
