Roles and Responsibilities
Main Job Duties
- Prepare optimal container loading plans to maximize space utilization and reduce shipping cost
- Identify potential stock issues in advance and prioritize inbound shipments accordingly
- Maintain product specification / Item Master Data in SAP
Other Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and flag for overstocks, out-of-stocks and slow-moving inventory
- Audit the inventory movement at the warehouses and compare with our ERP system
- Research and document inventory discrepancies, identify root causes and propose corrective action plan
- Reconcile perpetual inventory in SAP system
- Assist with other Supply Chain related tasks and projects as assigned by management
Working hours from 5.30 pm to 2.30 am India Time IST (8 am to 5 pm Toronto, Canada EST).
This shift will change by an hour starting November through March (4.30 pm to 1.30 am IST)
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an analytical role in supply chain
- Post-secondary education or equivalent in a field of study related to the position such as supply chain, logistics or distribution
- Experience with a Container Load optimization software like Cubemaster, Easycargo 3d, Stack Builder, etc.
- Experience managing inventory is an asset (replenishment and inventory reconciliation)
- Advanced Excel skills required, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid organization skills, including attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
