Job type - Contractual (On third party payroll - The requirement will run for a minimum period of 6 months and may further be extended for a couple of months to suit the project need.)
Profile is to support an on-going contract remediation activity for in-scope suppliers for compliance with the European Banking Authority (EBA) Outsourcing guidelines issued in 2019.
Below is a job/ role description resources are required to have a minimum experience of 4-5 years on contract remediation/ negotiations with an understanding of the EBA guidelines.
- Have a good understanding of the EBA regulatory requirements
- Ability to review existing contracts and comprehend key clauses like Service Level Agreements, Termination Periods, Governance requirements, insurance clauses etc.
- Working from a template Amendment Agreement, revise the Amendment Agreement to reflect which provisions are missing from the existing agreement;
- Engage with Barclays internal stakeholders to gather missing specific provisions in the amendment agreement
- Issue amendment agreements to the external suppliers
- Review supplier push backs in line with internal playbook, map supplier push backs with the existing agreement and EBA regulatory requirement
- Negotiate those changes with the supplier, seeking guidance from Barclays counsel where necessary, in accordance with a Barclays-provided playbook.
- Follow Barclays internal processes in relation to contract execution, maintaining adequate governance in place and having an audit trail of the contract remediated
