About the role:
The Intern Group is seeking a Business Development Intern for our Madrid office, working on our Madrid and Barcelona programmes.
Our Business Development Intern will assist in the growth of our alliances with companies in Madrid and Barcelona so they can host international students as interns in their projects.
We collaborate with companies from almost every sector: Marketing, Finance, HR, Business, Engineering, NGOs, Startups, etc and plan to collaborate with even more, so we can continue to receive international students whose lives will change after the incredible experience of coming to Madrid or Barcelona.
The role is challenging, personable and requires an eye for detail, as we never settle for ordinary and aim for constant improvement.
Duration: 3 month internship. Hours: Part-time. 20 hours per week. Start date: Preferably immediate Role Responsibilities:
Research and Database work - Building our database of potential partners during Low Season: August- February
Business Development - Getting new companies for specific internship roles: March – July (High Season)
CRM - Use our CRM software to organise contacts strategically and maintain relationships with companies even if we are not collaborating with them at the moment.
Innovation - Propose new strategies to obtain new companies maintain our current partnering companies.
Networking Events - Attend networking events once a month to hand out business cards and talk to people about what we do.
Updates - Updating database on a regular basis including company information and requirements for each role
Calls and Meetings - Call and meet current companies and leads to ensure a personalized process.
