Tetlow Legal is one of Canberra's best. We are CBD located and seeking a talented 5+ years PAE commercial lawyer with property experience to join our team.
The firm is currently entering an exciting new growth phase and seeks to employ the right candidate to support the development of this practice. We expect to be adding to our team in the short term.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work autonomously and will be responsible for the day to day management of a range of challenging commercial and property matters, in collaboration with a Partner.
The work is varied and involves the following:
- General Commercial.
- Drafting, reviewing and advising on commercial agreements, including complex shareholder agreements, exclusive supply and distribution agreements, various contracts for services, licence agreements and terms and conditions of sale.
- Advising on shareholder agreements, buy/sell agreements and regulatory compliance advice.
- Acting on the sale and purchase of businesses, including providing due diligence advice.
- Advising in relation to employee relations and employer obligations.
- Corporate restructure advice.
- Loan agreements.
- ACT & NSW commercial, industrial, rural and residential property transactions.
- Commercial Leasing.
To be considered for the role, you will have previous experience working in commercial law or commercial property law, ideally with a top tier or quality boutique practice, a strong commercial approach and the drive and determination to progress your career.
