Executive Assistant (Temp to Perm opportunity)

Our client is a well-established NFP organisation based in the Perth Inner Western Suburbs and has the immediate requirement for an Executive Assistant to the CEO. This full-time, temp to perm position presents a unique opportunity for someone to join them who shares their passion for this work.

They are seeking to appoint an Executive Assistant to to be responsible for efficient and confidential administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer, the board and its committees. In this role you will work closely with the CEO to coordinate local, national and international projects and programs. You will fulfil the role of high level personal assistant duties for the CEO, including preparation of reports, policy documents, proposals as well as calendar management, attendance of board meetings and minute taking. Identifying, within the context of the position, emerging issues and events in need of organisation, attention and initiating appropriate action. You will liaise with Board directors, General Managers, Managers and Team Leaders, coordinating and oraganising functions and managing travel arrangements. 

To be successful as the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you should demonstrate a strong experience in providing executive support and assistance at a senior level, including Boards, Committees and Senior Management and demonstrate excellent skills in dealing confidently and courteously with people at all levels. 

Here’s what you’ll be doing:


Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer on the reporting of the organisation’s Strategic Plan.
Ensure the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Team are informed about management issues.
Support the Chief Executive Officer with Annual General Meetings, Board meetings, committee meetings and other meetings as required, including the preparation of related documentation, administration, venue management and catering.
Coordinate and organise organisation functions, manage travel arrangements for the organisation.
Develop networks and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including all levels of the organisation, Government, academic and aged care providers.
Exercise discretion and deal with all matters in a confidential and sensitive nature.
Manage organisational memberships and subscriptions.
Undertake projects as directed by Chief Executive Officer.

Here’s what you’ll need:


Strong experience in providing executive support and assistance at a senior level, including Boards, Committees and Senior Management.
Ability to compose and present correspondence, including presentations and reports of a high quality.
Strong organisational skills, the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
Experience undertaking the administrative requirements of meetings such as Annual General Meetings, Board, committee and staff meetings, including preparation and distribution of papers.
Demonstrate relevant experience Microsoft Office Programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
Capacity to work independently with minimal direction and collaboratively in a team environment.
